iLEARN to eTEACH

An educator & Motivator with umpteen school experience, I have spent 1½ years in US. I am an ardent user of Web/Internet and keen on the global ways of teaching/learning that pave the way to best practices in education. I have attended most of the Web Seminars & virtual conferences presented by Steve Hergadan (Classroom 2.0 & Future of Education),  Sean Slade (Director, Whole Child Concept of ASCD), Michelle Pacansky Brock (VoiceThread), Larry Ferlazzo, Bob Sullo (author of Teach them to be happy, The motivated student etc..), Governor Bob Wise (President of Alliance for Excellent Education) Frank Buck (Tech Tools) besides a host of Macmilan Interactive Webinars (English Language) and many others on Teacher Professional Development. I also have done some work in Instructional Design & Technology. I have conducted several workshops in various schools (in India) based on CT/RT (Choice Theory/Reality Therapy) leading to Dr.Glasser’s Quality School/Teacher concept, Multiple Intelligence, Mind Mapping, PD etc… I also have the experience of conducting a few Webinars in India. I am currently in the process of Certification and is obtaining training from Ms.Farida D’Silva Dias, a faculty of the William Glasser Institute, USA. I am a Licencee of VoiceThread, a Member of TeacherVision, ASCD & Classroom 2.0 besides being Advisor to SchoolsIndia, Chennai and Executive Member of HOPE (a NGO striving for the orphan, poor & education).
