1.    Please stop teaching from the textbook- previously textbooks were the only practical means

of bringing together all of the information for teaching a class. Schools/Teachers can provide

access to an immense store of knowledge – The WEB & Internet.

2.    “Teach above your head”- if you feel completely comfortable and in control--

You are, in fact, preparing your students for your past and not their futures.

3.    Don’t have an impression like "one size fits all" knowledge stored in textbooks.

You can make learning a collaborative effort where students are also responsible for

gathering, evaluating, editing, managing & archiving information to be taught/learned.

4.    It’s collaboration almost everywhere and teachers should make/allow students to work with

others- to solve problems, brainstorm, create opportunities, edit & proofread, share and

instruct & learn from one another.

5.    Teachers should teach them to critically evaluate information from all sources.

6.    Today’s world is brimming with videos, images and audio, YouTube & Visual Literacy that are

essential skills rivaling traditional textual literacy.

7.    Do not teach such ways any question that can be answered by your phone in seconds.            8.    Make and create students to become interactive & self learners.

9.    Students Learn Differently-Teach to everyone.

Even though most teachers are Verbal/Linguistic learners not all of the students are.

Give all of the different learning styles a turn to excel.)

10.   Share your resources with other teachers & borrow their ideas for your lessons.
